When you message us on WhatsApp we receive your phone number, the name set on your account and the content of your messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
To deliver the service we also need the address where the session will take place and, where relevant to your safety, any health information you choose to share (pregnancy, injuries, oil allergies, ongoing medical treatment).
There are no lead capture forms on this website. The only analytics tool is Microsoft Clarity, and it is only switched on if you accept it in the cookie notice (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
Only with your consent do we use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to understand how the site is used and improve it: it anonymously records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, device and browser type, and approximate country. Anything you type is masked and the data is not used for advertising. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Microsoft keeps the data under its own policy: recordings for up to 30 days and aggregated data for up to 13 months.
If you accept, we also use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to measure visits, which searches they come from and which pages lead to a WhatsApp enquiry. GA4 does not store IP addresses and we do not use this data for advertising: advertising consent is always set to denied. Cookies: _ga and _ga_EM99BTEMXG (up to 2 years). We do not send marketing messages or newsletters. Were we ever to do so, we would ask for your explicit and separate consent.
WhatsApp and email conversations are kept for as long as the client relationship lasts and afterwards for the period needed to address any liabilities.
Invoicing data is kept for the periods required by Spanish tax law, currently four years as a general rule.
Health information you share is used during the session only and is not added to any permanent file.
We do not pass your data to third parties for commercial purposes. The only possible disclosures are those required by law, such as to the Spanish tax authority.
Note that communicating via WhatsApp means your message passes through that platform's servers, subject to its own terms. If you prefer not to use it, you can contact us by email.
The website is hosted on Netlify, which may process technical connection data as our infrastructure provider.
You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and you may restrict or object to its processing and request portability. To do so, write to hola@masajespalma.es stating which right you wish to exercise.
We will respond within one month at the latest. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
You can also ask us at any time to delete the conversation history we hold with you.
