Warm basalt stones do part of the work for you. The heat loosens the back, shoulders and hips before the hands get there, so the massage goes deeper without heavy pressure. We bring the stones, the heater and the table to your villa, hotel or finca anywhere in Mallorca.

What's included

How the session works

We heat smooth basalt stones in a professional heater to around 50–55°C and check every stone before it touches your skin.

First the stones rest along the spine and in the palms while the oil warms the skin. Then we use them as an extension of the hands, with long strokes over the back, legs and shoulders. Where a knot needs more, we finish by hand.

The heater only needs a normal socket. Set-up takes about ten minutes, and most people stay lying down for a few minutes at the end because getting up straight away feels like a waste.

Heat relaxes muscle before any pressure is applied. That is why hot stones suit people who carry tension in the upper or lower back but don't enjoy a hard deep-tissue session: you get depth without gritting your teeth.

It is also a good choice on a cooler evening, after a day of hiking in the Tramuntana, or when you want the closest thing to a spa ritual without leaving your accommodation.

Questions About Hot Stones Massage in Mallorca

Between 50 and 55°C. We test each stone before placing it and keep checking with you during the session. It should feel very warm, never burning.
We don't recommend it during pregnancy, with uncontrolled diabetes, pronounced varicose veins in the area, high blood pressure or recent burns. Tell us when you book and we'll suggest an alternative, such as a relaxing massage.
Both. The stones rest on key points and are also used in the strokes, and the therapist finishes by hand where needed. It is one integrated technique.
A quiet space of about 3 × 2 metres and a normal power socket for the heater. We bring everything else.
€140 for 60 minutes or €200 for 90 minutes, with travel anywhere in Mallorca included. A €20 deposit confirms the booking and is deducted from the total.
